We are a small family-owned and operated farm that started as Boer goat breeders. We have since expanded our farm to provide our customers with homemade goat milk soap, as well as organic herbs & vegetables. We also recently started offering PEMF & Therapeutic Red Light services to our livestock clients. Our passion for farming and dedication to our animals has allowed us to grow and expand while maintaining our commitment to quality in everything we do.
We specialize in breeding show quality traditional wether bred Boer goats. Our focus is producing competitive show correct animals, with great dispositions. All of our kids are born in our temperature-controlled barn and hand raised from birth (handled daily but always dam raised). While we do sell to other farms and breeders, our primary goal is to provide show animals for jackpots, 4H, and FFA youth. As such, our breeding schedules coincide with the majority of Arizona county fairs. With this in mind, we also try to offer a range of prices/quality to give more customers the opportunity to purchase from our farm (kids are priced at ~8 weeks of age and sold at 2-3 months typically).
Our soap journey began with an old friend of ours who had dairy goats and wanted to start making and selling artisan soap- hence our original company's name "C & K Soap Works". As time went on we slowly took over the soap business and sadly our friend moved away and sold their dairy goats. We now have our own milking goats and love providing our customers with all-natural goat milk soap, made right here on our farm.
We are excited to announce that as of January 1, 2025 we will be rebranding our soap company as "Lazy Dog Farm Soap Workz" to better align with our company vision and brand.
